Anjali Lama, a transgender Nepali model has met Maye Musk, Elon Musk’s mother and praised her as a very powerful personality on her Instagram.


Anjali Lama, a model, is currently the talk of the town. She rose to fame after appearing in a film with Jacqueline Fernandez and featuring as the cover star for the fashion magazine Vogue.

However, the discussion about her is not limited to this. She met with Maye Musk, a renowned model and the mother of the world’s richest man Elon Musk.

Sharing a throwback picture on her Instagram, Anjali has expressed her pleasure in meeting Maye Musk. These two appear to have met some time ago.

“When I had a chance meeting with a powerful personality,” wrote Anjali. The picture seems to be from the winter days in New York.

Anjali, who is from Nuwakot, changed her gender and became a transgender model. Anjali Lama was the first transgender model to walk the runways of Lakmé Fashion Week in 2017, and she continued her rise to the top this week, debuting for Nepali-American designer Prabal Gurung at New York Fashion Week.

She moved to Kathmandu, when she was 18, where her struggle with gender identity continued. Anjali Lama discovered her true identity as a transgender woman with the assistance of the Blue Diamond Society, which she describes as the happiest day of her life. She was watching television in Nepal when she came across a show about transgender people. She had friends who encouraged her to model because she was interested in the world of fashion and beauty. She was among the first to begin learning more about modeling, make-up, and grooming.

Talking about Maye Musk, 74, mother of Elon Musk is a Canadian model who has pushed boundaries and promoted confidence throughout her career. She was the oldest CoverGirl spokesperson at 69, and the oldest woman to appear on a Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover at 74. “I was famous until Elon became famous,” she told The New York Times in 2016.
