Dil Kumari, Member of Parliament has called for ban of popular battle royal game PUBG mobile.

MP Kumari has spoken out in parliament to put an end to the online game PUBG. She has urged that the game be banned due to the negative impact it has had on the lives of Nepali youth.

Nepal had banned the popular online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), saying its violent content had a negative impact on children, in 2019.

However, the ban was uplifted by the supreme court of Nepal. The court was petitioned by several lawyers against the block that was administrated on the game.

PUBG Mobile is a battle royale game in which a total of 100 players land on a battlefield and with the help of their gathering skills and survival instincts fend off and kill to win. To make the gameplay more interesting and fun the safe zone circle in which players will stay safe and not suffer any damage keeps on getting smaller. To win the hypothetical chicken dinner the players have to try and become the last man standing. It was launched in 2017 and has a huge global following.
