Niharika Rajput case defendant has denied allegations and said that he is open for DNA test and further investigations.

Niharika Rajput case has become a major concern in the country. From the streets to Sital Niwas, there goes the discussion regarding her case. She has been wandering around for months in seek of Justice. Her story and fight for justice have made everyone emotional. With the 21 months old baby in her lap, she is thriving. She has demanded a DNA test of her child and to re-investigate the case.

In the meantime, the accused of this case, Shrestha is no longer silent. Speaking to the media, he has claimed that all the alleged things against him are false.

The accused of Niharika’s Rajput case, Shrestha, of Dhanusha Kshireshwarnath Municipality-3 Mahendranagar, has stated that he is willing to submit to a DNA test after being accused of rape by Niharika Rajput.

Shrestha stated on a recent Sidha Kura Janata Sanga episode that he is willing to submit to a DNA test at Niharika’s request. He also stated that he is not the biological father of Niharika’s child.

“I am willing to take the DNA test as per Niharika’s request. If she desires a DNA test, the procedure should be carried out. I have always stated that I am willing to submit a DNA test,” he said regarding the DNA case.

Shrestha also confessed to an affair with Niharika (which Niharika has also acknowledged). “We had a relationship. We were introduced to each other by mutual friends. We began chatting and eventually fell in love. We were together for about four months,” he explained. However, he did not clearly specify whether or not they had a sexual relationship.

Shrestha also explained how their relationship started to deteriorate. “She had the word ‘Manish’ tattooed on her neck. I asked her if she could get the tattoo removed. Then she informed me that the tattoo could only be removed in Thailand or Australia. She stated that she will remove the tattoo and get a new one for me. However, she began demanding a huge sum of money to have the tattoo removed. She requested approximately 2.5 lakh. I didn’t have that kind of cash. As a result, she began fighting with me. She came to me after a few days and revealed that she was pregnant,” he claimed.

“I had not intoxicated and raped her, contrary to her claims. But she actually threatened me. She also compelled me to accept a child who was not mine.

Niharika Rajput’s case has become even more complicated after the claims from the defendant. He also clarified that he did not interact with female activists in order to create propaganda against Niharika.

Shrestha also claimed that the Niharika Rajput case has hampered his professional career. “Even though I was found not guilty by the court, she interfered with my professional life. She didn’t let me work. I used to work for Buddha Air, but her threats to the company forced me to resign. Then I worked for Ncell, but I had to leave for the same reasons,” he expressed his displeasure.

With these statements from accused Shrestha, the case has taken a new turn.

Niharika Rajput attempted to immolate herself in front of the President’s Office Friday afternoon in an attempt to draw the attention of authorities. Police stopped her as soon as she poured petrol on her body.

Previously, Karishma Manandhar had posted very personal pictures of Niharika and accused Shrestha saying, “I am sorry to support the case without knowing the truth.” In the post, she indirectly suggested that Niharika should back out from the case as Karishma believes the incident was not a ‘rape’ case.
