Simpsons September 24 End of the World Prediction Freaks Out People

Many people believe the world will end on September 24, 2022, and The Simpsons have predicted it as well.

The conspiracy theory picked up steam this week as a result of an apocalyptic video of a German chancellor and fears of a massive solar flare.

The notion has gone popular on TikTok, and September 24 has become the latest viral apocalyptic date.

Many people are realizing that The Simpsons also predicted the end of the world on September 24, making the whole affair much creepier.

Matt Groening’s cartoon comedy has frequently forecast real-life events, and an old episode about the end of the world is terrifying internet users.

Homer joins a survivalist club whose leader has set up a retreat to prepare for the end of the world in the episode “Homer Goes to Prep School.”

A video of Homer talking about the “looming kablooey” and predicting a massive explosion has gone viral on the internet.

“The apocalypse is near.” Perhaps not tomorrow, perhaps never, but it’s coming,” he says as he shows Marge his bug out bags and apocalyptic preparations. The Simpsons episode is about the end of the world, but what does that have to do with September 24? Well, just wait until you find out the episode number.

As if the Simpsons forecast wasn’t strange enough, the government of Denver is giving people free bug out bags in anticipation of National Preparedness Month.

A bug out bag is a survival pack that contains the essential equipment and materials needed to survive in an emergency.

In the episode, Homer shows Marge his bug out bags that he has stored in the basement in preparation for the end of the world.

However, The Denver Office of Emergency Management has shut down the conspiracy theories which suggest the city has knowledge that something bad is going to happen.

“We have been alerted that a conspiracy theory network is circulating a video on social media claiming that our Bug Out Bag giveaway for National Preparedness Month is the result of a known or anticipated disaster,” they said.
