A 14-year-old boy killed his mother, two sisters and a brother, allegedly under the influence of PUBG as per the police report.
45 years old Nahid Mubarak was found dead along with her two daughters aged 11 and 17 and a 24 YO son in Lahore, capital of the Pakistan’s Punjab State. Nahid’s teenage son was unhurt and the lone survivor of the incident.
Boy Confessed to have killed his mother and siblings under the influence of the mobile game PUBG. He has developed psychological issues because of spending long hours in the game, the police statement said.
Nahid scolded her son over his time on mobile game on the day of incident. The boy took his mother’s pistol from the cupboard and shot rest of everyone in their sleep. Boy himself raised an alarm on the incident the next day and called neighbors.
In the initial Police statement, the boy told interrogator that he was on the upper floor of the house and was unknown about his family members getting killed.
According to media reports, this is fourth of a kind incident related to online gaming in Lahore. PUBG alone holds responsibility for the suicide of three and murder of fore people in the state capital alone.
